Good Chinese silk-satin embroidered panels, Qing Dynasty, one with pale turquoise ground, the embroidery with a central 5-claw dragon, further dragons to each corner, bats and other auspicious symbols filing the reserves, embroidered in coloured silks and metal threads for the scaly bodies and features, approx. 94 cm square; a second panel almost identical but for the butterscotch yellow silk-satin ground, Chinese script in ink noted on the reverse, together with a silk panel embroidered with butterflies, edged on hand made gold metal thread lace (3)

More Information

The first two panels are unused and in very good order. The silk is shattered in the third item but the lace is strong.
