Pair of Black Forest carved limewood table centres, each carved as deer at the base of trees, height 50cm
Numerous losses to the extremities, particularly ears and horns, some more recent than others. There are odd chips to the leaves; more so on one than the other. Neither centrepiece has its original top that we presume to be a glass bowl.
There are natural splits within the wood, particularly visible around the base consistent with age.
Overall fresh to the market but would benefit from some restorations.
