Two Chinese carved soapstone water pots, first half 20th century Of compressed ovoid form with bird finials and carved in high relief with branches of flowering prunus, 19cm and 13cm across, together with two brush washers, one of near white hue, the other dark green, modelled as lotus flowers, set on carved stone stands of contrasting colour, 12cm high.
