AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER CLUTCH PURSE, the rounded rectangular silver body has a ball clasp that secures it closed, and a chain with finger-ring to help secure it in your hand. The interior with compartments is lined with original green cloth. Impressed with Birmingham hallmarks, and date letter for 1945. Maker’s mark S&Co for Sydney & Co. There are some dents to the body but they don’t take from what is a lovely early 20th century elegant clutch purse. Dimensions of the purse (not including chain): 11.5 x 6 x 2.5cm (W x H x D). Total weight: 66grams.
