AN ENFIELD MARTINI HENRY MARK IV MILITARY RIFLE. With an 82 cm rifled barrel, 11.05 mm at the muzzle, numbered 9077, with folding laddered sight and steel rod below. Marked clearly to one side with V.R. beneath a crown and dated 1886, above IV/I. With dropping block lever action and cocking indicator. Various inspection marks to all parts including Indian script to the trigger guard. The walnut stock with indistinct roundel marking and others. With leather sling. 126 cm overall. On a recent home made stand.
A very nice example in good condition with numerous clear markings. Some knocking and scuffing to woodwork.
