Bovril - a scarce early 20th century 1920s Bovril porcelain enamel advertising point of sale shop display sign. The sign of slender rectangular form with pictorial imagery to the centre and black notations on white ground reading 'Bovril, Alas! My Poor Brother, Makes Contented Cooks'. Signs of restoration. Measures approx. 46cm x 17cm.
