A FRENCH XI LIGHT CAVALRY SWORD
dated1834, with brass three-bar hilt and large brass langets, the grip still has all the leather present but is worn in places, there are inspection and armourer marks on the blade and handle, the spine is dated 1834, the scabbard looks to have been repainted, the curved blade is 87.6cm long and is in good condition, overall a fine example
