A 20th century diamond solitaire ring, the old cut diamond with white metal claws leading to plain polished yellow metal shank, stamped 18ct and plat, ring size O, 2.5gms, total diamond weight estimated 3ct (shank later replacement)

Diamond measurements: 8.3 x 8.2 x 5.5mm
Diamond is bright, lively and appears to be eye clean.
There is a black 'carbon' type inclusion present at 3 o'clock.
Minor inclusions are seen under x10 loupe
All claws present to the diamond.
No major thinning, apparent signs of repair or splits seen to the under bezel.
The shank is a later replacement with minor signs of thinning commensurate with being worn.
Accompanied with photocopy of 1980 insurance valuation.
