PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY TURKISH PERCUSSION HOLSTER PISTOLS CONVERTED FROM FLINTLOCK, WITH TWO STAGE RUSSET BARRELS, FULL STOCKS, ENGRAVED LOCKS AND EACH INLAID WITH WHITE METAL SCROLL MARKS
Both hammers lock in full and half cock. Both triggers work but leave a lot to be desired. Both actions are clunky and in need of attention. One nipple missing. Both barrel interiors have heavy rust and pitting. Both have repairs, cracks and damage to stocks in areas. Pistol with nipple has several large cracks. Wear and pitting to lock plates. Both most likely converted from flintlock due holes to locks. Holes to stocks in areas. Please see images. Viewing in person is advised.
