A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON GLAZED PORCELAIN VASE, YUAN DYNASTY, PUBLISHED AND EXHIBITED. Of baluster form covered in a sea green glaze. Zhejiang province. Yuan dynasty (1279–1368). 14cm tall.
Provenance: Exhibited at The Art Gallery, University of Maryland, USA in early 1995, and illustrated on page 56 of the exhibition catalogue 'The Helen D. Ling Collection of Chinese Ceramics' (ISBN 0-0937123-31-5). Helen Dalling Ling (1901 - 1982) was a co-founder of the Southeast Asian Ceramics Society in 1971.
