Rare WW1 Welsh Knife and scabbard, designed for 9th Bn Royal Welsh Fusiliers as a trench raider's sword/weapon. All metal with leaf shaped blade, ricasso engraved Dros Urddas Cymru (For Honor of Wales) and JO monogram, folding circular guard, cord bound grip, metal spike pommel, scabbard of stiffened textile wound with canvas with leather tip and belt attachment. Blade 44cm long, overall length 59.5cm. Knife extremely fine, scabbard slightly scruffy, nearly extremely fine. WILL NOT BE POSTED OVERSEAS. (See photo) (B)
