All contained in a carved wooden frame with carved CAN RFS and maple leaf to the top. The base carved 8 KOSB. Together with a colour transfer painted wall panel "He Died For King And Country" named "Private C S McCartney 121st Canadian Battalion. "
Sjt Charles Scott McCartney born Dunreggan Dumfrieshire served with the KOSB. Re enlisted with the Canadian Forces as Private Charles Scott and died age 38 on 11/11/1917. Remembered on Ypres memorial.
