Scarce Double Issue Medals & Plaque Of Soldier Who Served As An Alias


groups consist 1914/15 Star trio named "17108 Sjt S McCartney KOSB" ... WW1 silver War and Victory named "760998 Pte C Scott 7th Can Inf" ... Casualty death penny named ''Charles Scott".  All contained in a carved wooden frame with carved CAN RFS and maple leaf to the top.  The base carved 8 KOSB.  Together with a colour transfer painted wall panel "He Died For King And Country" named "Private C S McCartney 121st Canadian Battalion. "


Sjt Charles Scott McCartney born Dunreggan Dumfrieshire served with the KOSB.  Re enlisted with the Canadian Forces as Private Charles Scott and died age 38 on 11/11/1917.  Remembered on Ypres memorial.
