Arthur Gilbert (1819-1895) - 'Hereford Cathedral', signed also inscribed verso possibly in the artist's own hand, oil on canvas, 8" x 10"; framed
The work is in un-lined and un-restored condition but there is a very tiny bit of missing paint in the lower left corner which you can see on the further images I am attaching, there is a further small area of white under preparation in the grass near the lower left corner, the impasto does have dirt and discoloured varnish.
