PAIR OF JAPANESE SATSUMA VASES. Meiji period, the vases with a tapering body and applied dogs of fo, painted on one side with samurai warriors and the other with a court figure and attendant. Unsigned, and with wooden stands. 25.5cms high. *Condition: The applied swag on one side has a few small firing cracks, the dog of fo on one has a very small nibble, both have some general crazing and a little wear to the rims.
