A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 8342, COWLAIRS WORKS 1912, from a North British Railway Class F 0-6-0T No 118, which became LNER J88 Class No 9118 and was renumbered 8342 in 1946, becoming BR 68342. Allocated to St Margarets in May 1948 from where it was withdrawn on 12 February 1962 and sold for scrap to P.W.McLellan at Langloan. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
