An Early Post-War French Tinplate Clockwork Fire Engine/Turntable Fire Escape. Probably by Joustra, in red with yellow litho detailing, with 4 outside seated firemen plus driver, fitted with single piece ladder on 360 degree swivel base. Fitted with two piece tinplate wheels and a simple wind and go clockwork mechanism. GC-VGC for age, light wear/rusting to some parts. Action in working order. Overall length 350mm £70-100
