IMP TITVS CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG P M, laureate head of Titus right. Rev. TR P VIIII IMP XIII COS VII P P, Ceres seated left, holding grain ear, poppy and cornucopiae. (RIC II.1, 21; BMC 6; Calico 763). Good Very Fine with mint lustre in some protected areas. A pleasing aureus minted in the year of Vesuvius' eruption.
