A pair of good quality Coalport ewers, early 20th century, of baluster form with gilt scrolling handles, the blue and pale yellow ground with complex and flat gilt decoration, painted with landscapes including titled views of Melrose Abbey and Hawthornden Castle, printed factory mark in green, numbered 'V5.600/149' in gilt, 34.5cm high (both restored) (2) Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.
