19THC MUSICAL BOX - ETOUFFOIRS EN ACIER. A 19thc musical box with four airs, with start/stop and change/repeat levers and with internal winding handle. With a songsheet to the lid, marked 'Etouffoirs en Acier, No 34178 (also with the same name stamped on the base of the case) Cylinder 14.5cms long, case 32.5cms across.
In working order and the teeth and tips are all present, fly wheel needs a push to get in started, mechanism is working but sounds as though a service would be useful. Case, lid a little warped and some wear.
