A Marine sextant by the Hezzanith Instruments Works, London and certified in Sept. 1928. The body is of black enamelled metal and the brass tangent has a polished steel scale with fine vernier adjustment. The sight tube is of lacquered brass and is supplied with alternative eyepieces and lenses. The sextant numbered X947 and has a fitted mahogany carrying box, 27cm x 28cm.

Generally good. Mirrors and filters intact as are the lenses. Some tarnishing to the brass fittings and slight spotting to the lacquer.
