£7,500
A pair of 18th century carved and ebonised oak heraldic beasts, lion and unicorn, each holding scrolls, on later plinths, 42cm high
Both with numerous small losses, most notably on the lion two sections of his tail and the left half of the scroll / shield that he is holding, on the unicorn the horn is made of iron, one section of the tail is missing and there are some cracks running downwards, both showing a little wear and rot at the bottoms with other nicks and dents throughout.
