WW1 Imperial German Seitengewehr Model 1898 Sword Bayonet A good example with long narrow pipe back blade with quill point. Narrow central fuller. The forte with cutler's details and to the back of the blade date stamp for 1906. The hilt with steel turn up quillon and shaped pommel and fitted with two piece wooden grooved grips. Complete in its leather scabbard with steel mounts. GC
