A 19th century French 18ct gold diamond and ruby serpent bangle. The antique French 18ct yellow gold bracelet modelled as an expandable coiled snake with head encrusted with rose cut diamonds and principal old cushion cut diamond to ruby cabochon eyes. The snake's tail signed BREVETÉ S.G.D.G and having French eagle's head control marks. Principal diamond measures 4.3mm x 4mm x 2.8mm. Inner diameter approx 5cm (expandable). Weighs 47.9g. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
