Medieval Papal bulla. Lead, 41.27g. 34.67 mm. Bulla of Pope Boniface VIII (1294 to 1303). The obverse has the legend BONI/FATIVS/PP (omega above).VIII. The reverse depicts the relief-moulded heads of St. Peter (right) and St. Paul (left), who face inwards, each surrounded by a beaded border and separated by a small central cross patonce, with legend SPASPE ('Saint Paul and St. Peter') above.
