"7½d" MARKS, ETC.; 1877/78 covers (5) ex London, Staines, Ayr, Newry or Dublin to mainland Canada; 4 franked for the 2½d rate (3 with 2½d + one with 2 1d Reds + ½d Rose-red) - all with rare Handstruck "7½d" (Liverpool?) or "7½D" (Dublin?); and one with single 1d Red and so having v. fine serif "T" and charged "8c". The first four weighed above the ½oz, and the other was under the ½oz. Very unusual and attractive group.
