A LATE 18TH CENTURY IRISH SILVER GRAVY STRAINING SPOON AND A PAIR OF SUGAR TONGS WITH MATCHING BRIGHT CUT DECORATION, both pieces with bright cut zigzag decoration to the edges, a star, an oval and husking, the spoon with a bird of prey crest within the oval, spoon maker John Shiels, Dublin 1791, 3.85ozt, 119.8 grams, length 31.1cm, the sugar tongs with shell shaped bowls, maker John Power, Dublin, no date letter, 1.34ozt, 41.7 grams, gross weight 5.19ozt ,161.4 grams (2) (condition Report: spoon has a slight dent at the tip of the strainer, partial rubbing to the marks on the tongs, otherwise good condition)
