1897 Pattern infantry officer's sword with metal scabbard and leather carrier, 60% ornately etched blade with crown and cypher, reverse crown with coat of arms, ricasso marked Light / Military / Tailor/ Winchester, reverse proof disc, back of blade marked London made, Edward VII cypher to guard, pitting to blade, guard and backpiece. Approx 2mm of tip missing otherwise overall fine/very fine. Leather carrier tear at top, discoloration and peeling with label attached "Lieutenant Colonel / H.B.C. Watkins, MBE, RTR. / AA & GMC HQ 3 Division. / Bulford Camp,. BUYER MUST COLLECT.
