WW1 British 1897 pattern Officers Sword with single edged fullered blade 820mm in length. Proof marked. Maker marked "Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London". Etched decoration to blade has 1 inch calibrations starting at 10 and ending at 36. Serial number to spine of blade 35967. Guard with GR V cypher. Shagreen grip, but missing grip wire. Overal length approx 985mm. Complete with leather covered scabbard.
Blade has some old rust marks and some metal loss to edge of blade at one point, see photos. Some loss of surface to the leather on the scabbard. Rust pitting to the drag.
