ATTRIBUTED TO LIBERTY - An Art Nouveau Opal and Diamond Ring,

circa 1900, the pear-shaped openwork panel set with oval and round cabochon opals, within leaf and foliage mount set with rose-cut diamonds, unmarked mount tests as 18ct yellow gold, unsigned, size Q, 3.5g, with Liberty of London floral box

More Information

The opals have a good play of colour with mostly reds greens and blues, all have general surface abrasions and wear contributing to a slightly dull surface finish, and would benefit from re-polishing. The diamonds are slightly dark. The mount has general wear commensurate with age and use, along with an original dedication inside shank and on backing of head. Overall in good condition.
