An 18th century circa 1780-90 American bronze sundial. The sun dial of octagonal form with shaped pointer over an engraved base with Roman numerals and notation reading ' Mind Your Business '. The notation was a term used by Benjamin Franklin throughout his campaign. Mounted on a later base. Measures approx. 20cm x 27cm diameter.
