A signalling key, CHARD BAY GROUND FRAME KEY, (brass), used at Chard Junction station on the Salisbury to Exeter main line. Branch trains used a separate bay platform away from the main station, with its own box (later reduced to ground frame status) and a spur to the main line via a headshunt. Closure came in 1966.
