Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and useSome old chips, splits and lossesThe top with some fading and water marksOf solid, stable structureOne small reeded section of moulding below the right carved patera is lackingThough not evident when viewed from the top, later blocks between the table top and the frieze suggest the top has been refixed to the base.No obvious evidence of old worm.The raised gallery to the back has age, and the timber matches, however there is a possibility that it may be laterThe curved breakfront form, in addition to the carved patera and well figured flame mahogany is a very attractive feature to this table
