brown painted exterior.  The front with white "F.A.P.".  Black treated linen liner.  Fibre frame dated 1939.  1st pattern, oval, rubber crown pad.  Sprung webbing chinstrap.  Complete with khaki cotton, elasticated brim carrying harness.  Matching shoulder strap.  Some rusting to helmet.
