LARGE JAPANESE IMARI CHARGER. Meiji period, the large charger painted in the centre with a Dragon, with panels of birds including a Cockerel, Stork's and further painted Birds and flowering trees. The reverse with further painted decoration, and with character marks to the base. 46cms diameter. ** The charger rings nicely and no noticeable damage, the rim - the gilding has been lost in places and 'yellowed' over the years.
