George Mackley (English, 1900-1983). Original signed preliminary pen sketch of traditional clinker-built boats moored along a river at Hemingford Grey (Huntingdonshire) & another pen sketch by the same hand of a moored boats. (Came from Mackley's personal sketch book). Mackley was a famed wood engraver born in Huntingdon, he studied at Goldsmiths College London where he honed his artistic talent under Noel Rooke. 23 x 14cm & 15 x 10cm
