MARRIED 1869', the bell profusely engraved with the achievements of W. J. Davis surrounding main inscription 'PRESENTED TO W.J. DAVIS Esq: CHAIRMAN OF SPECIAL CONFERENCE ON TRADES FEDERATION HELD IN ST. JAMES HALL MANCHESTER 24TH,25TH & 26TH JANUARY 1899' other inscriptions include 'CHAIRMAN PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE 1898', 'KING GEORGE V DECORATES W.J.D. WITH THE COMPANION OF HONOUR 17TH DEC 1918', 'SWEATING UNDER THE ROYAL STANDARD 1891' and 'COMMANDED TO ATTEND KING GEORGE V CORONATION WESTMINSTER ABBEY 1911', height 21.5cm (Condition Report: fitted with clapper so in working order, handle has very slight amount of movement in the collar, otherwise good condition)
