Walter Tyndale (British, circa 1855-1943) Bazaar scene, Cairo, 1897 signed and dated lower left watercolour heightened with white 34 x 23.5cm. Provenance note: The reverse bears a label for Dowdeswell & Dowdeswells Galleries, New Bond St, indistinctly dated 1898. The present picture was possibly included in an exhibition of Tyndale's work held there, which is described on a further label.
