A PAIR OF ENGLISH ENAMEL TEA CADDIES AND A SUGAR BOX, SOUTH STAFFORDSHIRE, CIRCA 1770

comprising a rectangular sugar box and a pair of rectangular caddies, each decorated with vignettes of pastoral scenes within Rococo raised white borders on a bleu celeste ground. (3) Sugar box 9cm by 9.2cm by 7cm

Some restoration to the top of one caddy. The usual cracks and wear. The covers fit well and the hinged cover closes well. The mounts are nice and tight. A corner of the lid of the sugar box has sprung up from the mount. Lovely things.
