1899 QSA 3 clasps Defence of Ladysmith, Laing's Nek, Belfast, 1902 KSA both clasps & 1914-15 Star trio to 12446 Pte G. Matthews Leic R. (5141 1 Leic Regt on QSA, 5141 Leicester Regt on KSA), contact marks to first 2, cleaned, about very fine and better, swing mounted as worn.
With copied Boer casualty roll and SWB list, George Matthews was slightly wounded 7/9/1900 near Lydenburg, re-enlisted 14/9/14, discharged due to wounds 8/11/16. (See photo) (R)
