Arthur Burrington (1856–1924) was a British watercolourist known for his captivating landscapes and coastal scenes. His work often featured serene natural settings, with an emphasis on light and atmosphere. Burrington's use of delicate, fluid brushwork and a subtle, harmonious colour palette brought a sense of tranquility to his pieces. Though less widely recognized than some of his contemporaries, Burrington's contributions to British watercolour painting were significant, particularly in capturing the beauty of the English countryside and seaside. He exhibited with various prestigious institutions, including the Royal Watercolour Society.
