An Edwardian platinum and diamond bar brooch pin. The brooch set with a central old cut diamond flanked by two rows of old cut diamonds in a pierced gallery with chenier spacers. The brooch having a hinge pin and clasp to verso. Cased in a tooled leather box for Hamilton and Inches, 88 Prince's Street, Edinburgh. Unmarked, tests indicate platinum. Estimated principal diamond weight 0.40cts. Brooch pin measures 4.7cm. Weighs 3.9g. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
