Victorian boxwood and penwork snuff box, curved form, the cover decorated with a fox hunting scene titled 'Breaking cover', 8cm x 5cm; also an early 19th Century toleware snuff box, painted with the Little Drummer Boy, 5cm x 4cm (2)
The boxwood snuff box is in good condition overall. The base piece is coming a little loose from the body, gapping by approximately 1mm. There is some wear to the detail at the extremities, particularly around the base. There are small scratches, nothing too onerous. The lining is degraded.
The tin box has numerous losses to the painted decoration throughout. There are surface scratches.
