A MID 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT METAL AND PORCELAIN MOUNTED FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK, the case surmounted with two putti, one of which holds an oval porcelain panel painted with a cherub, the circular porcelain dial with pink and gilt ground and black Roman numerals, eight day movement by J Marti numbered 2149MF, bell strike, the lower case with foliate scroll sides , the front inset with three porcelain panels, on two rectangular plinth feet, the rear or the case stamped P.H. Mourey, height 33.5cm together with a separate rectangular marble stand, 46cm x 20.2cm x 2.8cm (2) (Condition report: no key or pendulum, movement is overwound, cherubs on the case are in need of tightening, some wear to the gilding)
