The Incorporated Law Society’s impressive Boer War Tribute medal, the bronze medal was presented to Solicitors and Articled Clerks who served in the South African Campaign 1899-1902 and who were entertained by the Society at a banquet December 18th 1902. The obv. displays the Arms of the Society, the rev. shows the emblems of England, Ireland and Scotland with explanatory legend. These medals were given unnamed, struck in bronze, diam 56.25mm.
