Mid 19th Century Continental Contract Cavalry Sword
35 3/4 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade. Large fuller with short, narrow rear fuller. Back edge with maker "R & C". Brass, three bar guard. Brass pommel. Re-covered plain leather grip. Contained in its black, repainted steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings. Steel scabbard with some pitting.
