A SECOND WORLD WAR KRIEGSMARINE FISH KNIFE REPUTEDLY FROM THE TIRPITZ. A silver plated fish knife, the terminal with German eagle above a swastika, the knife marked 'Wellner Patent 90 27'. Reputedly recovered from the battleship Tirpitz. 21cm,
The Tirpitz was finally sunk on the 12th November 1944 when Lancaster Bombers dropped 'Tallboy' bombs on her. She was broken up by a joint Norwegian and German salvage operation after the war. *CR Light surface marks.
