£300
A late Victorian novelty silver toast rack, the dividers modelled as musical notes, with central handle modelled as a treble clef, on ball feet, Norton & White, Birmingham, 1898, length 12.5cm, 139 grams.
There appears to be an old silver solder repair to the underside on the central stretcher at one end, also to one foot where it joins the stretcher and there is also a tiny split to the stretcher just above. Gaps between each bar approx. 15mm. Two of the uprights are slightly bent. Hallmarks clear.
