A Georgian mahogany bowfronted knife box (lacks interior), 23cms wide.
The front section of the cover has been broken in two and re-glued with an associated loss of veneer to the left hand side. There are splits to the veneer to the cover, the back and sides, there are old pegged repairs to both sides, possibly replacement hinges and the lock looks to be original and complete but with no key, solid condition.
