Banknotes; England; Kentish Bank 1815 £1 note (dated 21st Aug. 1815, numbered 43144, signed by Penfold - "WM" ?). The note is generally in about Fine condition (folds, wrinkles, and marks) but has been framed, and in being mounted for that has been glued to a backing board at each of its four corners.
