An early tilt head racket by Henry Malings of Frances Street, Woolwich circa 1875, the small head is complemented by a relatively long handle, three rows of trebling to the top and bottom of the original strings, above the maker’s details on the convex wedge is a crest showing royal appointment, length 27.25 inches and head width 8 inches, there are some string breaks and some wear to the handle commensurate with age, a leather strip forms the butt end
